Not stopped, but gone. Can't find this and wonder if I should extend to more general all gone rubrics??

Stopped is the most obvious thought but do you have any other line of thinking?
A few connected ideas with regard to being gone
SAI - no action in the heart SAI - broken or torn away SAI - fell into abdomen SAI - forced out SAI - jumped out of its place SAI - being torn out
There is a delusion that the abdomen is gone - Melal-l and also 'Empty feeling in chest'
Interesting sensation

Pt. not able to hear or feel the heartbeat (as usual). "Missing" sensation. Without anxiety or palps or other signs of diminished heart function. Pulse normal.

when you say cannot feel do you mean from within or by hand
is the person obese
in what way could they hear their heart beat before - usually an audible heartbeat suggests palpitations
there is a rubric 'heart beat imperceptible' and there are other descriptions such as 'small' and 'soft' which might apply
