has such sensitive hearing, that it puts them in a state of extreme anxiety, even when it comes to quiet and pleasant sounds; extra help (I’m generous tonight): has a pronounced tendency for miscarriages
let's go, guests... oops I meant, folks

let's go, guests... oops I meant, folks One of the most sensitive to sound remedies, any sound, has to be Asarum, which does has miscarriage in the sx picture but it isn’t pronounced as far as I am aware, so it might not be the answer but will be a rival in comparative materia medica I will be back later when I have time and books to consult

I'm going with sil.
I tried to insert an image of my rep, but it's asking for a web address? Copy/paste didn't work, either.
I used these rubrics: Grouped/combined: Mind; anxiety; noise, from Mind; sensitive, oversensitive; noise, sounds, to, agg.; slightest Female; abortion; tendency to plus: Hearing; acute
My attempts to find "pleasant" sounds that cause anxiety fell flat, but I guess pleasant is subjective. For investigation purposes only, I looked at the rubrics below. None of them included all of the above rubrics, nor any of the top remedies, so I weighted the symptom as "0" for now.
"Pleasant" sounds: Mind; sensitive, oversensitive; noise, sounds, to, agg.; children, of Mind; sensitive, oversensitive; noise, sounds, to, agg.; singing Mind; sensitive, oversensitive; noise, sounds, to, agg.; singing; birds, of Mind; sensitive, oversensitive; noise, sounds, to, agg.; water splashing Hearing; acute; noise, to; bird songs Hearing; musical noise agg.
Looking forward to hearing more on this one!

let's go, guests... oops I meant, folks I started thinking about the spider remedies with their acuteness of hearing and reaction to sound but got diverted so this is a bit of a long shot, maybe a medium shot but I chose these because distant sound is quiet noise all senses are perverted and exalted which creates the intense sensitivity I put this last one in because it is so strange, I don't even know what it really means. I am thinking that the sensitivity to noise is so great that it creates the anxiety and even fear in some cases that it is the fear and anxiety that actually threatens the miscarriage Anyway, I am suggesting opium (I would add that it has a pronounced degree of the tendency to miscarriage - which is abortion in the reps) Bon chance

Sabina would be my other choice - extremely nervous, agitated by noise especially music and a huge affinity to miscarriage becksnyc - if you quote a post you can then add attachments, if you only add a reply this option isn't available unfortunately (correction on that, you might be abl to attach when you make a quick reply and then press post - top right corner the option appears then. Sorry I am still getting used to this.

Sabina would be my other choice - extremely nervous, agitated by noise especially music and a huge affinity to miscarriage It is pretty hard to ask such questions without using the words from the repertory, because then it is too easy. On the other hand, it can cause a confusion, so although it is very interesting to solve these 'puzzles', I personally feel uncomfortable and wonder all the time if I was wrong somewhere. My conclusion is that I should do it more often, because I'm obviously too tight, and I shouldn't be. Here, see how I justify myself and apologize. In public!
Your conclusions and remedy choices are great.
becksnyc you are right in that 'pleasant' is subjective, but I meant on music and choose that word, which leads to what Admin - Joy Lucas concluded when she made her second choice.
If I had said 'music', and even added a 'piano', you would have guessed right away.

This symptom is interesting in that although it is not related to abortion, it has to do with menses, and now I see that it connects the symptom mentioned by Joy:
- Female; abortion; hearing; acute, very: op.
And my favorite, although I doubt I will ever meet in practice, but you never know, and Clarke emphasizes and in repertory it is in Generalities:
There are also several interesting symptoms of 'impaired hearing' due to different causes: - Hearing; impaired; tired, when: sabin. - Hearing; impaired; weather; change of, agg.: mag-c mang merc sabin. - Hearing; impaired; weather; damp, wet agg.: acon anath calen cupre-l dulc kali-m MANG(4) mang-acet MERC(3) petr PULS(3) sabin SIL(3) visc. - Hearing; impaired; weather; foggy, in: sabin.
When it comes to miscarriages, you also were on the right track.
- Female; abortion; tendency to - Female; abortion; threatening
- Female; hemorrhage; uterus, metrorrhagia; pregnancy, in - Female; menses; pregnancy; during: asar CALC cham cocc CROC ip kali-c kreos lyc NUX-M nux-v phos plat rhus-t sabin sec.
And the last in this epopee comes from Knerr, Repertory of Hering's Guiding Symptoms, 1896.
So, it is Sabina.
Thanks for participating, sorry if I did something wrong and I hope it was useful.

Thank you so much for this gordana it was interesting. I know we say this is fun but it is also extremely useful because these remedy investigations are what we have to do in real case taking and analysis - we have to utilise and understand the most vital symptoms so that we arrive at the simillimum. Sometimes these examples are singular, in as much as there could only ever be one remedy but other times there is a comparative materia medica to consider and these are really the most important because after the case taking we do the analysis and often end up having to choose between a number of remedies which have similar profound symptoms. It is quite a skill in being able to make the right choice. So, we continue with these as they are good for the explorative mind. 🧠
