Why is it that 'disappointment' is always aligned with 'deception' They seem such disparate states and yet when joined in the reps could lead to confusion comments?

There are so many things that could agg.disappointment, deception being only one possibility. I find it hard to believe that all 139 remedies listed under "Mind; disappointment, deception agg., ailments from (139)" have disappointment specifically aggravated by being deceived. Have you asked Roger?

In Kent I am thinking that 'diasppointment' would lead to using the 'discontened' rubric?

Have you asked Roger? No, but maybe we should drajeshr there should be several sub-rubrics to it, i think deception is added as a synonym from some old repertory. could well be streamlined.

I don’t have a problem with the sub rubrics, of which there could be, should be hundreds, it is the conjoining of disappointment and deception that I don’t get because they aren’t similar. Do you know which old rep was used? drajeshrbecksnyc it isn’t actually that disappointment is agg by deception, the real rubric is just disappointment agg (i.e. the state exists for whatever reason) but deception has been added as Rajesh explains

I doubt there are many remedies that do not have some level of disappointment attached to them but the original specific question is why 'disappointment' is aligned to 'deception agg' in CR. And yet when you look at 'deception' it takes you to 'disappointment, deception agg' with only 10 rx.
Considering 'Ailments from..... anything' is so very important because it takes you to causation I dont care for the use of the word 'disappointment and in Kent there's nothing (not that I am particularly Kentian).

It is a shame this discussion ended here and clarity is still required and it has been very interesting so far
